Police, community rally to support officer's wife battling cancer

Norwich — Police and the community are rallying behind Officer Greg McDonald whose wife has been battling brain cancer for about six years.

Norwich Police Officer Scott Meikle and his wife, Cynthia Weaver-Meikle, started a Gofundme page Tuesday to help the family who learned Monday that the Jennifer McDonald’s cancer is now untreatable.
