    Liberty 88, Mystics 81

Reserve Rebecca Allen hit four 3-pointers and finished with 19 points — both career highs — as the New York bench scored a WNBA-record 69 points in its win over Washington on Wednesday.

Brittany Boyd had 17 points and seven assists, Amanda Zahui B. added 15 points and nine rebounds and Shavonte Zellous scored 14 for the Liberty (18-7). New York's starters scored just 19 points — including 13 by Tina Charles — to tie the WNBA record for fewest by starters in a win.

The Mystics' bench scored 63 points in a triple-overtime win against the Los Angeles Sparks on June 1, 2014.

Emma Meesseman's jumper capped an 11-3 run that pulled the Mystics within four with 1:45 to play, but Boyd hit Kiah Stokes for a layup to make it 87-81 a minute later. A steal by Boyd, her third of the game, on Washington's next possession sealed it.

New York used an 18-2 run to take a 35-27 lead with 4 minutes left in the first half and led the rest of the way.

Emma Meesseman led the Mystics (9-14) with 20 points. The Mystics made 11 of 22 3-pointers and the Liberty finished 7 of 12.

    Storm 83, Stars 69

Jewell Loyd scored 25 points, Breanna Stewart added 22 points and five blocked shots and Seattle beat San Antonio.

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis had 10 points, Crystal Langhorne grabbed 10 rebounds and Sue Bird had eight assists for Seattle (9-14).

Dearica Hamby converted a three-point play to trim San Antonio's deficit to 63-59 early in the fourth quarter, but Stewart scored nine points — including two 3-pointers — and the Stars went scoreless for four-plus minutes during a 16-0 run that put the Storm up 20 with 4:33 to play.

Seattle, ranked 10th in the AP WNBA power poll, shot 54.8 percent (17 of 31) from the field and made six 3-pointers in the second half.

The last-ranked Stars, who have lost five in a row, were 4 of 15 (26.7 percent) from 3-point range.

Moriah Jefferson led San Antonio (5-18) with 25 points. Alex Montgomery had a season-best 13 points and a career-high six assists.

Seattle has had at least 20 assists in each of its last six games.

    Lynx 83, Dream 65

Seimone Augustus scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting and Minnesota beat Atlanta to wrap up a spot in the WNBA playoffs.

Minnesota (20-4) won its fifth straight and reached 20 victories for the sixth straight season, tying the Los Angeles Sparks (1999-2004) for the longest streak in WNBA history. The Lynx are the second team to clinch a playoff berth after Los Angeles (20-3) qualified Tuesday in a loss.

Sylvia Fowles had 14 points and five blocked shots, and Rebekkah Brunson added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Lynx. Layshia Clarendon led Atlanta (12-12) with 11 points.
