Montville — State police responded to the Montville service center off Interstate 395 Monday morning for a car that was on its roof.

A state Department of Transportation camera showed the car was on its roof between two gas pumps.

According to state police, the driver of the older-model Honda lost control upon entering the gas station and hit one of the guards in front of the gas pumps. Police believe that's what caused the car to flip.

Police said there were no injuries in the wreck and that inclement weather played a role.

The service station is located between exits 9 and 6 on the southbound side of the highway.

The crash did not cause any significant delays.
