One of the overlooked earthshaking aspects of the Republican tax plan is that the Republicans now accept Keynesian economics and maybe have even moved to a "Modern Money Theory" understanding of a central bank’s ability to create funds by a “keystroke.”
But, of course, they only trust the very wealthy to use wisely the created funds. After all they already have most of the money.
The Republicans certainly would not want the funds going directly to build schools, hospitals, or bridges without first passing through the caring hands of the 1 percent decision makers.
