THEIR SITUATION: Bill and Jean are in a particularly bad spot now as Bill struggles to fight advanced colon cancer. He has had one surgery and will have more in the future. He is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, which saps his strength. Jean has a disability that keeps her from being employed. They are struggling to keep on top of their expenses and would love to plan a small holiday celebration for their teenagers, who are also making many sacrifices.

WHAT TO GIVE: Gift cards or cash donations for food, gas, and department stores.
