Plane runs off runway at Groton-New London Airport

Groton _One person suffered minor injuries late Sunday afternoon when a small plane ran off the end of the runway at Groton-New London Airport.
Captain Michael Lowell from the Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department said emergency personnel responded to the airport Sunday at 4:59 pm for a call of a minor incident.
He said the pilot did not have any major injuries. The airport was closed after the incident.
