Greater Mystic Chamber to open new welcome center

Mystic — The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce will open its new visitor welcome center at 62 Greenmanville Ave. from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday.

The public and chamber members are invited to visit. Festivities will include music from Q105 radio broadcasting live, food, drinks, games and prizes.

The welcome center, which also will serve as the chamber’s executive offices, will be open seven days a week beginning June 1. Visitors will be able to buy tickets to local attractions at discounted prices, receive dinner recommendations and reservation service, and learn about activities in the area.
