Groton Light Parade seeks participants

The Groton Business Association of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is looking for floats and marchers for the 16th annual Holiday Light Parade, which will be held Dec. 6. The parade will start at 5 p.m. at Poquonnock Road at South Road and end at the Groton Shopping Plaza.

Floats from businesses, clubs and organizations, as well as marchers from any group in the community, are welcome. Bands, fife and drum corps and choral groups are also welcome. Those interested in entering a float must file an application by end of day Nov. 21.
