All Groton lacks is partridge in pear tree

I like to add a few more expensive Groton taxpayer supported items to Rick Hunter's list, "Goal of Groton leaders seems to be spending," (Jan. 13).

Nine fire districts at last count with chiefs, assistant chiefs and staff.

Three water companies.

Two utility companies.

Also note Groton schools budget $70 million. Waterford budget $45 million. Lyme/Old Lyme budget $32 million.

Groton management, it is time for change.
