Sean Elliot is indeed a poet of the lens. His photograph, in your Feb. 21 edition, "Heavenly objects," of Mystic's Union Baptist steeple coupled with the moon and attended by Venus and Mars was a fine engaging of myth, religion and astronomy. How neatly framed he had it, a window for us to look through and see what is looking back at us, in particular the moon that appears an eye just beginning to open.
