I want to comment on the letter, “Too much revelation is brass, not sexy,” (July 5), about “too much revelation being crass and not sexy,” and I totally agree with the author’s statement. However, she left out one issue which is, “too much revelation being macho, and not sexy.”

I see guys on the road walking, biking or driving convertibles without shirts on, often showing off their tattoos. I finally told one guy to put a shirt on and he thought I was making a joke, but I was dead serious.

Why can guys, some of them with big boobs, walk around in public half naked, or be shown on television and in advertisements, but if women do the same they get arrested?

No, I’m not in favor of improperly dressed women and neither am I in favor of improperly dressed men.

The law should be the same for both sexes.
