Catala will work hard for New London students

Election Day is less than a month away. The past two years went by fast. I have seen progress in New London Public Schools. I have seen the all-magnet school plan move forward. I have seen a new superintendent arrive with a new perspective on important issues.

I am running for election to the New London Board of Education because I want to be a part of these exciting times. I want to continue the work I started during my terms on the school board. I want to see a strong policy committee back in place.

One of a school board’s main functions is to create and ensure policy is carried out. This can happen over the next two years. I have the experience needed to work as a team, to promote success and to attend meetings. I firmly believe in being at meetings, asking questions and advocating for the students. My record shows that I had perfect attendance at all regular board meetings.

I ask that you support a strong team of candidates on Row A. Study the issues. I promise you I will fight hard for the students of New London. Each vote I take as a board member is on their behalf.

    Jason Catala
