In modern times, we have had two major parties. While the issues for both parties have changed drastically with time, recently, the Democratic Party has been basically progressive and the Republican Party basically conservative. Thus, there was a healthy opportunity to debate the issues.

What is Republicanism this year? The presumed Republican candidate for president is Donald Trump. This is the party that gave us Abraham Lincoln and Dwight Eisenhower. Now Republicans have picked Donald Trump. Debate this guy?

This is someone who insults Megyn Kelly and numerous other women on a regular basis and refers to women positively only as sex objects. This is someone who doesn’t consider John McCain a war hero because he was captured. This is someone who makes fun of a man with a physical disability.

How many others has he insulted? He says he will deport 11 million immigrants. How? Will he refuse to allow Muslims to enter the country. What about freedom of religion? He has forced four companies into bankruptcy where other people have lost the money; he didn’t. He never tells how he will do anything. 

Even the last two Republican presidents won’t endorse him!

Republicans should know better than to pick this clown!
