My name is Roberto Roman and I am writing in regards to news article, “Housing First: Reducing homelessness, or perpetuating a cycle?” (May 21). Since I was not employed while at the New London Homeless Hospitality Center the only thing done was that they had me sign this or that to be timed out of the facility with no place to go after NLHHC claimed to have helped.

There are so many of us that didn’t get any help. Many of us are sleeping in whatever vacancy is illegally found in the city. As the editor you should go ask those who are there about the so-called assistance that the homeless get and hear for yourself the homeless version.
