    Norwich

    Jaquan Davis, 26, of Bronx, N.Y., was charged Saturday with violation of a protective order, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

    Hector Grant Jr., 30, of New Britain was charged Sunday with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Christopher Tipton, 31, of 171 Broadway was charged Sunday with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny and possession of narcotics.

    Michael Barber, 62, of 3 Woods Drive was charged Sunday with carrying a dangerous weapon, breach of peace and first-degree threatening.

    John Welch, 54, of 168 W. Thames St., Apt. 5, was charged Saturday with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

    State Police — Montville

    Michael Kelly, 47, of Fairfield, was charged Monday in New London with violation of probation.

    Lamont Barnwell, 45, of Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville, was charged Monday in New London with failure to wear a safety belt in front seat, traveling at an unreasonable speed, reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, engaging police in pursuit, evading responsibility, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive right, driving without a license and first-degree forgery.

    Joel Velvadeira Hampton, 42, of Bridgeport, was charged Saturday in Montville with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to have head lights illuminated, and possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana.

    Adam R. Holzschuh, 35, of 93 Fifth St., Norwich, was charged Sunday in Montville with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.

    David Johnson, 28, of East Greenwich, was charged Saturday in Montville with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    David McCall, 48, of 66 Coal Pit Road, Griswold, was charged Saturday in North Stonington with second-degree failure to appear in court.

    Waterford

    Ruth Acevedo, 55, of 83 Mansfield Road, New London, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended license and improper passing.
