Nuclear Mechanic Christopher Hammer holds his son Carson for the first time along with daughter Addison, three years old, as his wife Rachael and son Caleb, one year old, look on during the homecoming for the USS Missouri (SSN 780) to the Naval Submarine Base New London on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, after a regularly scheduled six month deployment. Carson was born in June, around two months after his father left on deployment.
