Old Lyme — A 'Meet the Candidates' night will take place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Town Hall, 52 Lyme St.

First selectman candidates Bonnie A. Reemsnyder, the Democratic incumbent, and Jude Read, a Republican, along with selectmen candidates Mary Jo Nosal, the Democratic incumbent, and Chris Kerr, a Republican, will answer questions from The Day's editorial page editor, Paul Choiniere. Olwen Logan, editor/publisher of LymeLine.com, and president of the Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce will serve the moderator.

The Lyme-Old Lyme Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the event.
