New London — Nathan Coulter and Lucy Rondon lifted their son Jeilan, 2, out of the surf as they walk along the Pequot Avenue beaches in New London Tuesday. Coulter said they had lunch on the patio and decided today might be one of the last chances to get out and enjoy the beach.
