    Coast Guard band performs for music students

    Members of the United States Coast Guard Band move into the seats to play as part of a program entitled "Music 360º" for high school music students from schools as close as Waterford and Groton and as far away as Simsbury Monday, Nov. 9, 2015. The band performed compositions from classical, jazz and contemporary composers with commentary aimed at expanding the students' horizons. The concert was followed by individual instrument clinics with students from four of the schools.
