East Lyme police to host "Stuff a Cruiser" toy drive Dec. 13

East Lyme — Police are asking residents to come to the police department and help them "Stuff a Cruiser" with toys on Sunday, Dec. 13.

Police will give all toys and gifts raised from the drive, which lasts from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to Care & Share of East Lyme Inc.

Care & Share is an all-volunteer organization that "provides food, financial and emergency support" to East Lyme, Niantic and Salem residents.

Those who wish to donate but can't make it to the event can drop gifts off at the police department any time before Dec. 13.

All toys and gifts should be unwrapped.
