Quilting class hosted by Ledyard Parks & Recreation begins April 11

Ledyard — Myra Day will instruct a six-week class on quilting beginning April 11 at Ledyard Middle School.

Held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Mondays, the class will teach how to make any size quilt from lap to king size in the "Majestic Beauty" pattern.

Participants will need a mat and ruler, and learn skills such as using a rotary cutter.

The fee for the classes is $77. Registration can be done at the Parks & Recreation Office or on its website: www.ledyardrec.org.
