Dodd Stadium to host additional Yard Goats games

Norwich — Continued construction delays at Dunkin' Donuts Stadium in Hartford will keep the Hartford Yard Goats at the Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium through the first week of June, this time bringing minor league affiliates of the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox to Norwich.

The Hartford Yard Goats, Class-AA affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, will play seven additional games at Dodd Stadium, including two doubleheaders, playing Yankees' affiliate the Trenton Thunder on June 1 with a doubleheader and June 2 and the Portland Sea Dogs on June 3, 5 and 6, with a doubleheader on Sunday, June 5.

Tickets for Hartford Yard Goats games at Dodd Stadium are available online at cttigers.com, by phone at (860) 887-7962 or at the Dodd Stadium box office.

Tickets are $12 for premium box seats, $11 for reserved seats and $10 for grandstand seats.

The Tigers still will honor the $2 discount with military ID and $1 discount for children 12 years and under, as well as senior citizens 60 years old and over.

    All doubleheaders are single-admission events.

Gates will open for all Yard Goats games one hour prior to first pitch.

Dodd Stadium is hosting the Yard Goats for 10 games this month, including next Tuesday and Wednesday, a doubleheader.

The Connecticut Tigers, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, start their season at Dodd Stadium June 22.

Tigers tickets also are on sale at Dodd Stadium.

The front office and box office are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can be accessed in person or by calling (860) 887-7962.
