Mashantucket — Sugar Factory American Brasserie will open next month in Foxwoods Resort Casino’s Grand Pequot Tower, the restaurant chain announced Monday.

The 8,000-square-foot location will include a full-service café and confectionary shop, a retail store, an indoor dining room and a bar.

"We are thrilled about the growth of our restaurant concept with the newest location inside Foxwoods Resort Casino," Charissa Davidovici, Sugar Factory founder, said in a statement. "Casinos are the perfect places for our lively atmosphere and playful menu. This location will provide a sweet oasis for resort guests of all ages."

Sugar Factory's signature floor-to-ceiling candy wall features more than 500 types of candy. The shop will offer coffees, hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate, homemade specialty rainbow doughnuts and pastries in addition to homemade gelato and ice cream.

The dining room will seat 212 people.

Sugar Factory has locations throughout the United States and abroad, including one set to open outside the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, a goblet bar and retail locations at the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and retail stores at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The brand has stores in Bahrain and restaurants at Festival City Mall and CityWalk in Dubai and in Manila, Philippines.
