    Help in the garden

Volunteers Tom Seidel, left, and Herb Zickwolf, right, work with Henry Ly, a student from the U.S. Navy Submarine School, at the Broad Street Community Garden on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in Norwich. The garden, operated by volunteers, has provided over 11 thousand pounds of fresh produce in it's eight years of operation to those in need through St. Vincent de Paul Place and the Central Baptist Church said garden coordinator Joe Churney. Volunteers are always welcome to help out on Wednesday and Sunday workdays and can visit the group's Facebook page for more information. (Sarah Gordon/The Day)
