Groton — Groton is holding a retirement party for outgoing Town Manager Mark Oefinger on July 27.

The event will be held at 5 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 224 Gold Star Highway, Groton. Oefinger will retire on July 11, after 15 years as town manager and more than 30 years of service to the town.
