Salem School announces free and reduced meal eligibility guidelines
Salem — The Salem School District has announced its policy for determining student eligibility for free or reduced meals for the 2017-18 school year under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs.
The district is following the United States Department of Agricultural Income Eligibility Guidelines, using family size and income to determine eligibility. Children from families whose income is at or below the guidelines are eligible for free or reduced-price meals.
