World War I ceremony to be held Thursday in Westerly

The Disabled American Veterans Josiah Broadfoot Chapter 6 will hold a World War I Memorial Ceremony on Thursday at 3 p.m. in Wilcox Park.

The ceremony is held in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the end of of World War I. Twenty three men from Westerly and Pawcatuck were killed in the war. Their names will be read at the ceremony.
