Machinist Mate 'A' School Graduation

Groton — Eleven sailors of "Tomahawk Class 16065" graduated from Machinist Mate (Weapons) "A" School on Aug. 19.

Machinist Mate 1st Class Cole Houshower was class instructor.

Fireman Daniel Normandin received the Torpedoman Plaque as class honorman.

Machinist Mate "A" School is a 10-week enlisted apprentice training school providing basic knowledge and skills at the entry level in the MM rating in shipboard 3-M, mechanical skills, 3-inch launcher operation, explosives, torpedo tubes and MK 48 ADCAP torpedoes and Tomahawk cruise missiles.
