Police investigate armed robbery at New London convenience store
New London — Two men robbed the Honey Plus Convenience Store at 393 Colman St. at gunpoint on Tuesday, police said.
The robbery was reported at 4:57 p.m. after employees at the store said two men entered the store and demanded money. One of the men displayed a handgun. Both men fled on foot south on Colman Street with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No injuries were reported.
One of the suspects is described as a tall Hispanic man wearing a gold, hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a bearded black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing.
