Waterford police investigate pool store, movie theater burglaries

Waterford — Police are investigating two early Sunday morning burglaries at stores in the Cross Roads Center shopping center.

Somebody forced entry into the Regal Cinemas at 123 Cross Road through the side door, according to Lt. Stephen Bellos. Burglars also broke into the nearby Namco Pool store through the front door. Police estimate the crimes took place between 2 and 6 a.m. Sunday and are still tallying what is missing, Bellos said.
