UPDATED: Accident causes traffic delays on I-95 in Stonington

Stonington — A single-car accident on Interstate 95 south between Exits 91 and 92 has closed the left lane of traffic, according to the Department of Transportation.
Police said a car crashed through a guardrail and went down an embankment. The accident was reported at around 11:15 a.m.
One person was seriously injured in the accident.
No further information is available at this time.
