New London — City police responded to a call just after 11 p.m. Monday at the Salvation Army Store on Bank Street that a glass panel on the front door of the thrift shop had been shattered.
According to a news release, once on the scene, officers were told that a slender white male had kicked and shattered the glass panel, and then walked away.
Police obtained no additional description.
Officers checked the premises and it did not appear as though entry into the business had been made, the report said.
