Some North Stonington residents without water following main break

North Stonington — Residents of the Kingswood/Meadow Wood subdivision lost water service Tuesday evening after a water main broke, according to the North Stonington Volunteer Fire Co.
Fire officials said around 6:30 p.m. that utility companies were working to repair the break, but residents could expect to be without water for a couple more hours.
Residents in need of water are invited to bring their own containers to the fire house at 267 Norwich-Westerly Road and use its hose to fill them.
