Right lane of I-95 northbound in Mystic reopens after accident

Groton — The right lane of Interstate 95 northbound has reopened following a two-car accident prior to Exit 90 that happened just before 6 p.m. Friday, according to the state Department of Transportation.

No further information was immediately available.

Stonington police said the accident, coupled with the Festival of Lights event going on in town, caused traffic issues in the area stretching from I-95 through Olde Mistick Village.
