North Stonington _ The resident State Trooper office here is investigating a Friday night incident in which a bullet pierced the wall of a home and was found on the living room floor.

According to police, the homeowners were awakened by the sound of three shots, one of which struck their house in the area of Interstate 95 and Boom Bridge Road at 10:44 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 860-535-1451 or 860-848-6500.
