Police: Stonington duo had 1,300 Xanax tablets in apartment
Stonington — After conducting surveillance for three weeks, police on Monday arrested two residents on multiple drug-related charges.
Morgan L. Boss, 20, and Anthony F. Wu, 23, both of 375 Liberty St., Apt. 8, Pawcatuck, each were charged Monday with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
While executing a search and seizure warrant at the apartment, police said they found more than 1,300 Xanax tablets, about 1.4 pounds of marijuana and more than $2,000 cash.
Information given to Stonington detectives and the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force led police to the apartment, police said.
Police said both Wu and Boss were held on a $50,000 cash bond.
