New London police respond to two overdoses Monday

New London — Police on Monday responded to two overdoses that both are suspected to have been heroin-related, police said Tuesday.
One of the overdoses occurred at 3:21 p.m. at 66 W. Coit St., which is a vacant building, according to police.
Police said the other took place at 40 Crystal Ave., which is part of the Thames River Apartment complex, around 9:23 p.m.
Crews administered Narcan in both cases and transported each person to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, according to police.
Police said they weren't able to seize evidence in either case.
