Killingly — Members of the Troop D Quality of Life Task Force arrested a Killingly woman on a warrant Wednesday after they found 700 bags of heroin in her car last week.
Lori Ashmore, 42, of 93 Main St., Apartment B, was charged Wednesday with possession of heroin with intent to sell.
After weeks of gathering information, members of the task force and the Killingly Resident State Trooper's Office visited Ashmore's home on April 12 in a "knock and talk" to obtain consent for a search of her apartment and car. A search of her vehicle's trunk found 700 bags of heroin prepackaged for sale with an "NFL" stamp.
