Three arrested in connection with North Stonington assault that caused 'serious injuries'

North Stonington — State police on Monday arrested three southeastern Connecticut men in connection with an early April assault that left two victims with "serious injuries," according to police.

Arrested were Cameron James Albin, 18, of 211 Greenhaven Road, Pawcatuck; Brandon Thomas Clay, 18, of 106 Corey Road, Groton; and Stephon Malik Hodge, 19, of 117 Hewitt Road, Mystic.

Police charged all three with second-degree assault.

According to police, the assault took place on April 8 on Ledgend Wood Road.

All three of the accused turned themselves in at Troop E in Montville and all three were held on a $30,000 cash bond, police said.

Police said the case remains active pending more arrests.

Hodge, who was arrested Feb. 25 for his alleged role in a fight that occurred that day outside Waterford High School, still is facing the second-degree breach of peace charge that stemmed from that incident.

Albin, Clay and Hodge are scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court May 9.
