Police issue Silver Alert for missing Groton teen

Groton — Police on Saturday issued a Silver Alert for Zachary Sostak of Groton.

Sostak is described as an Asian male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds, with black hair and black eyes.

According to the police, he was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black basketball shorts and boots.

He has been missing since earlier Saturday, the alert said.

Anyone with information on Sostak's whereabouts is asked to call Groton police at (860) 445-2451.
