Stonington — A Pawcatuck woman was charged with drunk driving late Thursday afternoon after police said she drove into two parked cars with two small children in her car.

Tricia B. Husereau, 28, of 73 Mechanic St. was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, risk of injury to a child, failure to register a motor vehicle eligible for commercial registration and driving in violation of license classification.

Police said that at 5:53 p.m., Husereau struck the two cars causing moderate damage. There were no injuries. Police also said her motor vehicle registration was suspended in Rhode Island and her license was expired.

She was released on a $1,000 bond and is slated to appear June 27 in New London Superior Court.
