Ledyard police asking for help in locating suspect who burglarized Gales Ferry Spirit Shop

Ledyard — Ledyard police are asking for the public's help in locating an unknown suspect who smashed the glass on the front door of the Gales Ferry Spirit Shop at 1666 Route 12 and took cash and cigarettes.

Video surveillance shows that the incident occurred about 5:50 a.m. Saturday. Police do not know the type of vehicle the suspect arrived and departed in.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has any information pertaining to the incident is asked to contact Officer Jason Pudvah at (860) 464-6400.
