Traffic is backed up on Interstate 95 northbound near Exit 89 following a three-car accident that resulted in no injuries, according to state police.

Another three-car accident occurred on the Exit 90 off-ramp. There were also no injuries in that incident, police said.

The Festival of Lights, happening at Olde Mystic Village until 9:30 p.m., was expected to bring additional motorists to the area.
