Griswold man extradited to face child porn possession charge
State police extradited a former Griswold man from Greenville, Ohio, back to Connecticut this week to face a child pornography possession charge.
The arrest of Robert E. Plemmons, 54, comes more than a year after police said they received a complaint from a 12-year-old who claimed Plemmons had child pornography stored at his home at 403 E. Main St., Apt. A, in Griswold.
On Nov. 18, 2015, state police detectives seized a computer and DVDs from Plemmons’s home. In June, a forensic investigation into the contents of the material turned up more than a 100 images of suspected child pornography.
Held in lieu of $25,000 bond, Plemmons was due to appear Thursday in Norwich Superior Court. He is charged with second-degree possession of child pornography.
