Police investigating shots fired incident in Norwich

Norwich — Police are investigating after shots reportedly were fired near the Mohegan Park Apartments on Wednesday evening.
Chief Patrick Daley said the shots were fired along Mohegan Park Road about 7:23 p.m. He said police did not find any damage Wednesday night, and no one has reported having been hit by gunfire.
Daley, citing the ongoing investigation, declined to say whether police recovered casings at the scene or how many shots were fired.
He said the incident appears to be a random act.
