Groton — A Groton City man was arrested in connection with a domestic incident Tuesday after police said he threatened to kill a woman and punched the windows of her car when she was inside with two juveniles.

Thomas B. Maynard, 50, of 188 Meridian St. was charged with interfering with an emergency call, second-degree breach of peace, risk of injury to a minor and threatening.

The alleged victim called police about 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to a narrative of the incident. Maynard had pushed the woman, grabbed her when she was trying to call police and threatened to kill her with a gun, the narrative said.

“When the female victim was able to get out to her vehicle, Maynard punched her window repeatedly while the two juvenile victims were in the vehicle,” the narrative said. Guns and other weapons were seized at the scene, it said.
