Stonington police charge teen with sexual assault of minor

Stonington — Police charged an 18-year-old local man Wednesday with the sexual assault of an underage girl.

Dylan Anderson, 18, of 15 Walnut St., Pawcatuck, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Anderson turned himself in to police after learning there was a warrant for his arrest.

Police said the alleged incidents took place over an extended period of time with a 13-year-old girl. Anderson was held on a $150,000 bond and was arraigned in New London Superior Court on Thursday.
