Groton -- Town Police assisted by The Regional Community Enhancement Task Force, charged three people Saturday on multiple drug charges including selling heroin.

Police said the arrests were the result of an investigation they began after seeing suspicious activity in and around a local hotel. As a result of the investigation, they also seized drugs, paraphernalia, and cash.

Abdul Hakim Ali, 28, and Nahphisah Fentress, 24, both of East Hartford, and Eugene Findley, 25, of Bloomfield, were each charged with destruction of evidence, operating a drug factory, possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell. Fentress was also charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
