Groton — Town police on Wednesday arrested a 31-year-old man they said had cocaine, heroin and cash in his possession at a local hotel.

Police said they were working with the Regional Community Enhancement Task Force when they saw “suspicious activity” in the parking lot of the hotel, which they did not name.

Further investigation led police to charge Gianni W. Centeno, of 11 Fieldside Drive, Unit A, with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police remind residents who see something suspicious to contact their local police department.
