East Lyme — Police are hoping the public can help them identify three men who allegedly were involved in an August assault that left two people with injuries.

Police said they learned from witnesses that the suspects had been at the Henny Penny on West Main Street on the same night as the assault, which happened Aug. 20 around 8 p.m.

Officers gleaned stills from surveillance video footage and last week began circulating the pictures. The pictures include a white car believed to be associated with the men.

Police said the assault took place on private property at the end of Brainard Road. The victims’ injuries were not life-threatening.

Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Jared Priest at (860) 739-5900 or email him at jpriest@eastlymepolice.com and reference case no. 17-353-OF.
